À propos de ce contenu audio

In the midst of a pandemic toilet paper panic, Sam embarks on a quest to procure his own stash of the coveted white gold in this parody of a children's book adventure, written by Hollywood filmmaker and showbiz biographer Sam Irvin (director of ELVIRA'S HAUNTED HILLS, co-executive producer of GODS AND MONSTERS, author of KAY THOMPSON: FROM FUNNY FACE TO ELOISE).

Drenched in movie references from THE SOUND OF MUSIC to CARRIE, the protagonist's journey includes a grocery store clerk who is a dead ringer for Peter Lorre and a bathroom that is decorated floor-to-ceiling in Tarzan memorabilia. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, has weighed in with her 6-word review of the book: "I laughed! I cried! I flushed!"

This audiobook edition is narrated by the author, Sam Irvin, with guest voice actor Doug Mackie as "Mugsy," the grocery store clerk who sounds like Peter Lorre. The audiobook also features an exclusive Afterword written and read by the author. The "About the Author" section at the conclusion of the book is read by special guest star Julie Brown (EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY, CLUELESS). The cover artwork is by Dan Gallagher (who also illustrated the print edition). Audiobook produced by Sam Irvin & Michael Strazza. A Knuckle Samwitch Audiobook.
