This is the first-ever series of graded stories for beginning adult learners of Arabic as a foreign language. It is based on the following principles:
- gradual introduction of vocabulary and structure, in context.
- frequent recycling of both.
- a huge volume of comprehensible input.
Please Note: This audiobook is in Arabic.
Ce que les auditeurs disent de Sahlawayhi 3: Graded Stories for Beginners (Arabic Edition)
Like the previous reviewer, I think these books are extremely useful for learners of Arabic. From the point of view of the teaching technique, they are a real jewel of a book. Everything goes in stages, the pace of the speech, the vocabulary, the grammar structures, the endings. There´s constant repetition, so you learn a lot without actually realizing that you are learning anything. I cannot imagine making so much progress without them. The only thing I find very strange is that N.4 and 5. are sold on Amazon at some absurd price of several hundred or even thousand usd. Fortunately I ordered them from a bookshop in the UK.

A Great Addition to Arabic Language Learning
I remember when Khorshid's books first started coming out. Khorshid identified a significant and glaring gap in Arabic language learning literature and he is doing much in the way of filling it. He has continued to broaden and deepen his contribution through continuing this series of stories and through putting together eady to comprehend - but by no means simple - grammar books for nonnative speakers. These audiobooks go even further toward rounding this series out and I look forward to seeing the future editions for levels 4 and 5. Bottom line: if you're an Arabic language student, get these. you'll get a high return for your investment.
