Description
Mysterious men have a way of showing up in Stephanie Plum's apartment. When the shadowy Diesel appears, he has a task for Stephanie - and he's not taking no for an answer. Annie Hart is a "relationship expert" who is wanted for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Stephanie needs to find her, fast. Diesel knows where she is. So they make a deal: he'll help her get Annie if Stephanie plays matchmaker to several of Annie's most difficult clients. But someone wants to find Annie even more than Diesel and Stephanie. Someone with a nasty temper. And someone with "unmentionable" skills. Does Diesel know more than he's saying about Annie Hart? Does Diesel have secrets he's keeping from Stephanie and the two men in her life, Ranger and Morelli? With Stephanie Plum in over her head, things are sure to get a little dicey and a little explosive, Jersey style!

Disappointing....
REALLY disappointing... I read or listened to the Plum books from the beginning, in order, last year. I was eagerly looking forward to this, but I feel so let down.
Maybe a book was due and needed to be in by the deadline. Sort of seems that way...

Cute, but not her best
Listen....ANYTHING written by Janet and keeping us updated on Stephanie is better than having no Stephanie at all...but...this cute little Valentine whimsy just seemed unnecessary. I'd much rather have waited, with baited breath, for another Stephanie and her two sexy men plot, then to get involved in the storyline of this book which seemed silly and trivial & really didn't "go anywhere".

Something fun and fluffy
It is great to have a "between-the-numbers" book to tide Evanovich fans over until #13 hits the stands in June. This is a great Valentine's Day present for an Evanovich fan. It again includes the character of Diesel who was introduced in "Visions of Sugar Plums". It is always interesting that Stephanie Plum's main men (Joe and Ranger) are always on the periphery when Diesel is in town. The description would seem to suggest more interaction with all 4 characters but that doesn't happen. At any rate, it is good, fluffy fun with some great lines, some good laughs and it gives us a much needed Stephanie Plum fix until the next book. Give it a listen!

Predictable
In this novel I find that the story line is predictable. It is cute but not up to Evanovich’s normal standards. I find it hard to read her novels sometimes in that her character Stephanie Plum continues to fail to learn from her errors and does nothing to improve herself. It is not that she has to be real but how many times can she continue to be a nitwit and not do something about her condition. Even a blind hog occasionally will find an acorn.
In this latest version of Stephanie’s life there is no exception. I for one wish that the author would update her character's training and then we could have new errors to contend with. Not as good as her other stories but not bad either.

A waste of 1 credit
I found this book to be a waste of time. It was a little humorous here and there, but very bland.

Plum Lovin..
I am very sorry that I wasted my time and money. I hope this is not an indication of future Stephanie Plum books.

Not Quite On Key
This book, like _Visions of Sugarplums_ takes place in a slightly different dimension from the universe of the main series. VOS was so well done that I consider it a gem. This book is less well imagined, and spoils the character of Diesel and his uncanny nature by making explicit things that were better left mysterious.

Don't ruin Stephanie!
I have a special place in my heart for Stephanie Plum and her creator, Ms. Evanovich. You see the first time I was introduced to Stephanie was on a empty flight from Chicago to Los Angeles after 9/11. I live in Los Angeles but was in New York on that fateful day and it took me a week to get home. I had to rent the last car left in Manhattan and drive to my family's home in Chicago in order to catch a flight. I discovered Stephanie at the airport, grabbing a book before I boarded my flight for Burbank airport. I laughed all the way to Los Angeles. Stephanie and Ms. Evanovich provided sweet relief after a horribly traumatic time in my life. I was hooked and have read every Stephanie Plum since. Unfortunately, this latest essay..it's hard to call this 3 hour story a book...was a great disappointment. Weak story line, weak dialog and worse of all..no laughs! I I fear that Ms. Evanovich is bowing to the pressure many popular novelists do and that is to prioritize the publication dates of their novels above the quality of the book they are writing. I fear for Stephanie's future if this type of 'quick fix' writing continues.

...a very fun and alluring listen.
Audiobook Review – Plum Lovin' – Janet Evanovich
“Plum Lovin,’” is an ‘in-between’ novella – Book 12.5 – in the Stephanie Plum series by well known ‘Chick-Lit’ author Janet Evanovich. My wife is a big fan of the series, and we listened to the audiobook while traveling to her parents’ 60th wedding anniversary celebration. There are four of these "Between the Numbers/holiday” cross-over novellas, where bounty hunter Stephanie Plum works with Diesel (another character from Evanovich’s Lizzy & Diesel book series). Together, they attempt to solve a case focused on matchmaking during Valentine's Day, as the “relationship expert” has gone missing after supposedly committing some crimes and Stephanie and Diesel pick up ‘the matchmaking’ to solve the overall case. It's a charming and alluring novella – too long for a short story, but too short for a full novel - that crosses the two series and hopefully brings new fans to both series. It was a fun and delightful listen, joyfully narrated by Loreliei King. The story had little substance but made me laugh out loud numerous times to make it worth listening too. Some of the regular characters are back with the same humorous and comical dialogue and the mystery, romance, crime, and comedy are still pertinent in this novella as well. A very fun and worthwhile 3-hour audiobook listen.

für Fans ein Muss
Man sollte Stephanie Plum schon kennen, sonst tut man sich etwas schwer. Aber ich als Fan hatte hier sehr viel zu lachen, insbesondere mal wieder über Oma und Lula.
