Chic Street Man
This is the much anticipated memoir of Chic Street Man, the internationally known, multi-talented singer and composer, who rises to prominence from the gritty streets of Boston to perform at the United Nations in Geneva, to tour throughout France and in the Soviet Union, and to perform in Switzerland at the Montreux Jazz Festival. But the journey is accompanied by challenges - racism, financial uncertainty, and unexpected illness. It's an inspiring story that celebrates artistic integrity, the power of music to heal, and the invaluable cultural gift represented by Chic's genre of choice, the blues. Chic writes with an engaging style that exudes warmth and humor. You won't want to miss his extraordinary story.
