Pangaea is a time that happened nearly 300 million years ago when the Earth was at an estimated age of 3.5 billion years.
Pangaea is when all the continents were combined into one landmass, and this was surrounded by the only ocean at the time, which was called Panthalassa. All forms of life on land lived together in Pangaea at that time.
Humans didn't even exist at this time. Instead of humans, there was a group that is best known as Traversodontidae, a family of plant-eating mammals from which humanity would evolve nearly another 100 million or more years in the future. Pangaea only existed approximately 100 million years prior to the breakup, which over time has created the other continents: North America, South America, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Africa, and Europe as they are today in our time.
This story takes place about 250 million years ago from now. This is the time of the Birth of Magic and prior to Homo sapiens or humanity. It is filled with many different clans such as Furs, Feathers, Hides, Scales, Skins, and in the surrounding ocean Panthalassa, there are also the Fins. The Rulers of the clans were Faeries, Dragons, Gargoyles, Yeti, and the most feared Erikings.
