Another easy listen from T Kingfisher
Like the other Paladin books this is an easy listen- fun in places with some romance and drama in spades.

Utterly in love with this series
T.Kingfisher never disappoints, I can't get enough. The narrator is also incredibly talented. Waiting for the rest of the series is gonna be harrowing but I'm sure it's gonna be worth it

This book gives more depth to the series
Even if I was not very convinced by the relationship between the 2 protagonists, I still think it’s one of the best books in the Saint of steel series. The story is great and the characters are so much more complex than they are in the rest of the series. You can feel the maturity growing in the writing. Unfortunately, the love story is the one I enjoyed the least. I just couldn’t get involved enough with Marguerite and Shane.
