I found it refreshing to have all kinds of food mentioned but all the time.... ? Around Christmas it was rather delicious and the story is a bit forseeable with simple characters but was entertaining. Nothing really of surprise but pleasant all the same. Goodness all around (or won) and that is feelgood for the season.
