Narrated by:
Ingrid Connor longs to explore the world outside her isolated desert home, but a bloodthirsty monster lurks beneath her skin. Vicious werewolves like her deserve death at the hands of those seeking to eliminate them. Luckily, Ingrid’s got her aunt, who keeps Ingrid safe from wolf hunters, and humanity safe from Ingrid.
Her tiny world shatters when bounty hunter and treasure-seeker Alice stumbles across her homestead. A fellow werewolf who’s mastered the beast within, Alice believes Ingrid to be unfairly imprisoned, and kidnaps her with the intention of teaching her to tame her killer instincts. A righteously indignant Ingrid convinces Alice to take her home--but when they arrive, they find a wrecked, empty house, and a pool of her aunt’s blood.
Ingrid's got no choice but to team up with Alice to find her aunt--even if her feelings for the girl grow more complicated by the moment, and Aunt Cora's disappearance might be linked to a lost treasure that destroys all those who seek it. To survive what’s ahead, Ingrid will have to uncover--and embrace--what it truly means to be monstrous.

Oh So Many Teeth takes an ambitious bite in the sapphic YA landscape and leaves a mark with its unique Wild West setting, tender romance, and complex discoveries about identity and our inner monsters. McNicholas's prose balances the right amount of angsty introspection and delicate vulnerability for her characters, making sure that you, too, will yearn for freedom with them.
Transportive, captivating, and achingly human, this genre-defying werewolf western is pure gold.
I'm absolutely feral for these sapphic cowgirl werewolves. Which feels appropriate.
