Al is twenty-five, unemployed, newly single, and about to lose his New York City apartment. Just when he thinks life cannot get worse, he finds himself living in a broken-down RV with a leaking roof and three uninvited pigeons.
Then he meets Lily.
Between terrible motels, disastrous jobs, exploding milkshake machines, and an apartment above a noisy karaoke bar, Al slowly rebuilds his life. Along the way, he discovers unexpected love, becomes a father, and takes the biggest risk of all—buying the karaoke bar where he works.
Funny, heartfelt, and filled with one ridiculous disaster after another, My Life Sucks is the story of a man who loses everything—only to discover that his terrible luck might be leading him toward the life he was always meant to have.
