Ok rom com

This was an ok rom com. Not much romance but more about a single dad and kids. I had a hard time connecting with the main characters. A laughed a couple of times because of the performance. These two are my favorite readers. Thanks to them, I was able to finish the story. However, I used my credit for this and I am gladly returning it.

swoon worthy single dad❤❤❤

Wow! Love love loooove Tripp! Germaphobe, single dad, ex-boy bander, caregiver, baseball lover and did I say single dad, cuz he is hot and sexy at it! Lila didn't stand a chance against his charm! Pippa Grant has another all star hit with this book.

Both Tripp Wilson and Lila Valentine are amazing characters and that's to be expected from this author. Tripp is hot, sexy and caring while Lila is sassy, sexy and strong. There is chemistry from the beginning, even if Lila thought he was someone else. But that deception just fueled their fires even more because neither of them are afraid of a little heat. While Tripp is trying to rock the single dad look and find balance, loosing his wife unexpectedly has had lasting affects on his present and future. But where Tripp has a massive support system to help him, Lila has been battling her own painful past almost entirely alone. Now with her lone surviving family member dead and a fanily legacy left in her lap, she has no choice but to work with Tripp if she wants to stay connected to her family.

Oh the chemistry between them. I can't get over how great they are together! The banter, I love their email chains. Lila drives Tripp crazy with fast paced decisions. Tripp keeps tempting her. Their arguments are filled with sexual tension and the more his kids are involved the more she falls for them. It wouldn't be a Pippa Grant book without animals and she didn't disappoint. Love ducks taking up roost at the stadium and OMG, his kids and their critters! I loved his kids! As I said earlier he has a massive support system so that means we got to see more from past characters ❤❤❤ because the Bro Code family is always there for him and don't think Lila hasn't made friends either, Parker and Knox are back to help her out! Then there are some really great twists that I didn't expect and redemption and love and more hot single dad moments. This book is full of swoon worthy moments.

The narrators did a fabulous job of the characters. He made Tripp oh so sexy. I highly recommend this book!

Hilarious, Heartfelt, and Steamy Romance!

I had so much fun listening to this clever, emotional, and sexy romance. This third book in the Bro Code series is about a sexy single dad, Tripp, who wants to help make his beloved but failing hometown baseball team successful again. When the owner suddenly passes away, his niece, Lila, becomes the new owner. Tripp and Lila had a great meet cute that ended way too soon. Now they find out they both want to make the team a success and to do that they have to ignore their fiery attraction. I loved Tripp and Lila's story! It had the perfect balance of quirky charaters, heartfelt emotion, hilarious and awkward situations and lots of sizzling passion. I loved how Tripp and Lila clashed but supported each other, and their chemistry was off the charts!
Joe Arden, and Savannah Peachwood did a great job narrating this hilarious romcom and bringing it to life. Their comedic timing and inflections were spot on as they delivered Grant's witty banter flawlessly. I really enjoyed both their performances and thought they made this hilarious, heartfelt, and sweet & steamy romance even better!

Who knew a bad pair of pants could lead to love?

I almost forgot how much I love Pippa’s writing. From the first page I was laughing. Tripp and Lila are a match from the first thrown drink to the last mascot argument. As a crazy baseball fan I lived vicariously through Tripp and Lila. How cool would it be to own a baseball team?! One thing I love about Pippa’s books is how interconnected they are. You can read them as standalones but reading them in order makes it so much more enjoyable! So if you love baseball, laughs and former boy band members... give this book a chance!

Getting Lila’s story was so much fun. Loved her since Stud and the mash up with Bro Code and The Fireballs just perfect

loved the story, but the voices...not so much.

Tripp and Lila had a great story. I just couldn't get behind the voices narrating it.

This is the third book in the Bro Code Series, A Romantic Comedy. I love this Series! Liar, Liar, Hearts on Fire is a standalone in the Series. Tripp and Lila's story has it all: fun, emotional, sexy, and romantic. Tripp, a single dad, is handsome, sexy, and overprotective. Lila is beautiful, smart, and strong. They are perfect together. Tripp's kids, Emma and James, are wonderful, and hilarious! I love their very happy ending. Joe Arden, and Savannah Peachwood did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend this Series!

Not as funny, but interesting backstories

A more serious love story than I’m used to from Pippa Grant, it still has the great and hilarious side characters that I have come to know and love along with some scenes that had me snorting with laughter, but both Tripp and Lila have deep emotional scars from their past that made the tone a little more somber. Tripp is the devoted single dad that can make any heart swoon, the unlimited patience he had with his kids had me completely amazed and a little in love with him. After losing her parents as a child, Lila lived a life of solitude… not sticking around in one place too long and not letting anyone get too close. Tripp and Lila butt heads from the second they meet (well, besides the hot scene in the bathroom) and seem the thrive on irritating the heck out of each other! While this one was much more heartfelt than the others, Tripp’s kids added the perfect comedic relief to all the scenes! Seriously, all the random animals and insects his son collected had me rolling in laughter!

Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood did an amazing job narrating and are two of my favorite narrators for a reason! Joe was perfect for a take charge dad like Tripp, I loved his growly voice!

Love!

I loved the story. It was a very different back story. I really enjoyed it.

Liar, Liar, Hearts on Fire

After book 2 I was looking forward to Tripp’s book. I liked it and I am glad I picked it up.
I wasn’t expecting Tripp to be such a germaphobe but it’s kind of understandable once you know his back story.
I really liked Lila, her whole store breaks my heart but the way she has turned it around and has done so much good. Admire that, she doesn’t blame anyone it just is.

The mystery behind her parents still irks me because we don’t really get closure and that might be good too because it gives us a small glimpse into what it must be like for her.

The kids we have to talk about the kids this book wouldn’t be this book without them. I loved all the ducks and * * *k’s and trucks lol.
Great narration loved it.
