It’s September in the seacoast town of Hamlet, Massachusetts, and Shelby Price is happily running her bookshop and enjoying spending time with friends and her new boyfriend.
Last Christmas, Shelby fell off a ladder and hit her head, and when she woke up, she could hear her cat talking to her. Not only could she converse with the feline, but she started to develop some paranormal powers.
