    The protagonists are loveable, well rounded, good communicators and emotionally mature... I love how Cara writes her men... they are gentle and sweet, good friends and good people, but that doesn't take away from them being strong, hot and in this case, a little bit smutty. I mean, even the sideline guys were decent individuals, and the inevitable tension in the third act (apparently a requirement in all remance novels) didn't stem from anyone being stupid and suddenly forgetting how to talk to each other (also a requirement in too many romance novels). The narration looses a star as the narrator sometimes mistakes inside thoughts for outside thoughts and attributes a couple of sentences to the wrong person, however this is a little harsh as he voices female characters without making them squeaky or sound silly and that's really lovely.
