    Good info.

This book allows them both to happen at the same time. Once I read over these stories a few times, I started to be able to recognize characters and words and it allowed me to naturally learn! I'm a beginner, but I think it would be great for intermediate level learners as well.

    The whole book feels authentic.

the whole book feels authentic to Japanese culture and language learning. I would recommend this storybook to any serious student of the language and connoisseur of the culture. Also, the selected vocabulary including the Kanji is way better than what could be expected from a language textbook like this one. Excellent material!

    Very good!

I would recommend that readers have at least a little background in the Japanese language before buying, the sentence-by-sentence structure is actually very good!

Great study material for Japanese learners

Full transparency, this book should have been called English stories in Japanese, since they were all clearly written for or about the UK. It is nicely narrated so it’s easy to understand both in Japanese and English for non-natives, but the logic of translation is beyond me: English translation can either come after one sentence of Japanese text or after an entire paragraph of text with up to 10 sentences. Having more consistency would be nice.
Also it has glitches, maybe it’s just on my device, but it feels like some small parts of texts are missing, I tried playing from the start hoping it was something on my side, but it doesn’t seem so.
Overall a great study material, I am so happy to find it

    Will there be revisions published?

Currently the English only tracks go straight from Story 3 to Story 5. There is one less track in actuality then shown in the contents in the PDF. ...technically yes the content is there in the Japanese-English version, but for the study method I'm using I was hoping to have it split out separately.

The narrator did a good job. It was neat to have both languages. I would recommend this to others.

Not for beginners, not educational, and boring

"Beginners" is of course a somewhat subjective term, probably japanese people would consider anybody up to and including N4 a beginner, however this book is not meant for 日本人, so... definitely not for beginners. On top, the format of reading multiple sentences, in a row, in japanese in english does not seem very educational, to me, no further explanations being given. Further, the stories are not real "stories", mostly banal musings of somebodys thoughts. No plot or character development, in short nothing which makes listening entertaining (or maybe I gave up on it too early, but I fast forwarded several times and it did not get better). The idea is good, however, in principle.
