Then a little girl's body is found at the site of the old tragedy and Rob is drawn back into the mystery. Knowing that he would be thrown off the case if his past were revealed, Rob takes a fateful decision to keep quiet but hope that he might also solve the twenty-year-old mystery of the woods.

    I’m so glad I listened to this book! It’s very well written, the characters are complex and relatable, the intrigue is down to earth human misery and not some elaborate far-fetched half-baked motive… Everything I love and expect in a crime novel. The only downside is now I’m obsessed and must put my other books on hold 😉.
