In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty takes on the foundations of our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don't say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.

One of her bests!
Excellent thriller in our beloved "Lisa Jewell style"! I highly recommend it. I could not stop listening to Antonia Beamish. Some comments here criticized the plot and twists to be implausible, but in the contrary I found the story and the characters very closed to real life - sure you won't enjoy boring routine and normality in a book, so it is still a novel indeed! Lisa Jewell must have good knowledge of the dark sides of human soul to be able to spin that kind of story. She provides interesting character studies and also reveals human virtue. As well as in "The family upstairs" the story tells us about abuses on a very respectful way, just enough to understand the facts without falling in voyeurism. I loved the timing of the chapters, Lisa knows how to captivate the reader to the last page, each chapter ending with a cliffhanger, surprising twists and turns… as much as I can say as a non-native English speaker. Well done!

Feels rushed towards the end
started interesting.
second half as if cropped, rushed to a finish. lots of details doesn't pan out in the end.
especially towards the very end it drags on in a amateur fashion. dreadful to finish.

Another brilliant work by Lisa Jewell
Thrilling from the first the first moment until the end. Interesting and nice characters. On the one hand a brutal crime on the other hand a sweet young love. It’s easy to feel with the characters. The end is a little bit sad and I wished there would be no end.
Also nice reader’s voice. Well read, clear to understand.
Best novel by Lisa Jewell.

Gute Geschichte, hervorragend gesprochen
