Society tells wives to eat last and feed their husbands first. Our mothers teach us that a good mother puts her children before herself, but what if you put yourself first? Are you a bad person, mother, and wife? After years of abuse, and sacrifice I realized that I am as equally important as any member in my household. I saw me in my two-year-old daughter. I saw 22 years into the future. My daughter searching for a hero, only to be rescued by a monster. I chose me!
