    If you care about your health. Hate American's dep

    I'm down 21 pounds in 6 weeks. Husband reached his goal quicker. A real commitment in turms of cooking, planning ahead. Hard for us (75 years old+) to eat 30 min after getting up. Hard to drink sooo much water, but gets easier. Husband's stomach issues gone. Blood sugar dropped like a rock. Feel good. Yes, we miss some foods, but so far worth the effort. this book is awsome

    This works! REALLY!

    I am so happy with the results of following this. I am vegetarian and I did not find it difficult to follow this plan for 28 days. ( Have done it several times to refocus again, too ) You might find it a little difficult, if you are not used to eating fresh foods, or preparing and cooking your own meals. I found the author easy to read, follow and understand.

    This book is full of very practical advice to loose weight at the same time that you are enjoying eating. It's simple and easy to change your life style.

    Lost 4 lbs in the last 5 days

    I am giving this book 5 stars because I have lost about 4 pounds since I read this book about 5 days ago. The book is easy to read and cuts straight to the point. I would recommend this book to anyone who is trying to lose weight.

    This works! REALLY!

    Scary good. I am in phase three of the first week and this diet is kicking my butt. Be aware that the release of toxins will be an issue, sapping energy but I expect a surge of energy next week. Have dropped 5 of the projected 30 that is my goal. Eating this much and dropping weight at the same time is difficult to wrap your head around, but obviously, it works.

    53 year old female - it really worked.

    followed this diet plan for 10 days before a vacation. I lost 7 lbs. I'm a 53 year old female. Menopausal and overweight by about 50 lbs. Honestly, I was shocked. I was so afraid to get on the scale out of fear of disappointment. But dang! It is a little confusing, but I think I'm better prepared

    Very effective and informative

    I loved this book. The first couple chapters she explains how she came up with her conclusions and I appreciate that however, he went on a bit longer than needed about himself. With that being said,
    I followed almost exactly what he said, and I lost 17 pounds in one month.
    I didn’t exercise either.
    I found it challenging to eat first thing in the morning.
    It’s a lifestyle way of eating so in order to maintain your weight, you must be consistent.

    Complicated for me at first, but I'm glad I pushed

    This is a pretty complicated diet to understand, but once you do, it works amazingly. (Try and find a friend whose done it, if possible!) I am losing weight rapidly, but more importantly, I feel great. I have MS and my energy has been through the roof on this diet. I feel healthy and that is helping me go forward and be inspired to finish what I started. Food-wise, it really isn't that difficult. You just pick the foods that you like on the list and go from there.

    Life changer

    I listen the book first so I could
    Understand the science behind the diet. Lots of shopping was necessary. It can be expensive. At times, it is difficult to stick to. I was only having one cup of coffee at a time so it wasn’t difficult to omit caffeine. Sometimes it’s hard to eat so much food. But...it is working! Day 4 and I’m down 4.5 pounds. Definitely worth it to get your metabolism functioning optimally. Prior to this, I was in a downward spiral with a huge sugar addiction. To see the scale go down every day is encouraging!

    Great for your health

    I actually finished this book, AND did the 28 day cleansing diet. I lost 7 pounds and 5" off my waist measurement in 28 days, and that was with a six day vacation trip added in. Easy to follow, and the scientific explanations make a lot of sense to me. Now, I am 6 weeks past finishing the diet, and my weight has gone down another 2 pounds and it's staying off.
