Amazing

This book was an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end Theodora Tayler never disappoints!!! The entire collection is worth the buy!

Growing tired of this formula :/

I really liked some of Theodora’s first books but I’m growing tired of this storyline formula. I conceptually like the idea of some of the characters but they have been flattening out the the latest books. I hope that changes, I think this author is definitely talented.

Most Unlikeable

Sam has to be the most unlikeable character ever encountered in a Theodora Taylor book. Even Clementine Dove didn't help. She was judgmental & mean. By the time we got to her back story I didn't care, I wanted Nikolai to run as far away from her as he could get.

Another awesome Russian

I am a Theodora Taylor fan. Some novels I love more than others, but I don't think she can write a bad romance novel. This one was good. Nikolai was not as cold as Alexei, but he was close. Sam, for all of her psychology training, didn't seem to realize how her past was jading her view of Nikolai and his behaviors. This is an intense couple that compliments each other. As with other Theodora Taylor, this one contains eggs (characters) from other novels. I truly enjoyed this story as I have enjoyed many of her other Russian and alpha male romance novels.

Really real story, not fake type people, or love

Love it, stayed up all night listening, getting into the characters. great pace. I love the fact blended family with thirty something lover not the boring virgin young girl who is stupid adult with older guy. Theodore Taylor keep up the good work.

I absolutely loved this story and the entire series. Thanks for adding them to audible. Please add Luca and Amber to audible also. There story deserves to be on audible.

Fire 🔥 from beginning to end.

I was like damn this book was so hot. He never gave up on the woman he loved.

Loved it!

An emotional roller-coaster that pushed all my buttons, and made me laugh and scream, almost simultaneously. I lived Nikolai and the growth experienced by both him and Sam. Beautiful live story.

Sorry was too long

Your stores are too long. why are the women so distrusted? I like the Russian store line.

Rinse and repeat

First -- we love the narrator! She does most of the voice acting for this author and we're super glad about that!!

Now on to the not-awesome -- We're at chapter 35 and we're still waiting for the couple to have a true relationship. We've also seen this type of heroine in several other books by this author (hence the rinse/repeat) and we do not like her (meaning this particular heroine type).

What are we seeing...again...and again:
1. The heroine is yet another social worker/psychologist/traumatized specialist who is great at telling everyone else what they need when she, herself, really REALLY needs therapy. And she's judgmental as all hell.
2. Unexpected pregnancy and unexpected foster kids then marries someone she loathes, but doesn't actually know enough about them to loathe them in the first place.
3. She makes promises but doesn't keep them (e.g. I'll be your wife, but I'll be petty the whole time in spite of the fact I'm supposed to be smart, emotionally intelligent and, oh yeah, I promised).
4. She asks people the same questions over and over and over again trying to get information out of them, but expects not to reciprocate.

It's listed as a romantic comedy - it isn't. There's drug use, murder and abuse (child and adult) and nothing funny so far.

The story started with lots of action and lots of promise and has sunk to basically nothing happening at all. Right now they are on their first date after being married for a bit. It's not going well (like the rest of the book) and there's an hour left and we're bored. We'll finish because there has GOT to be some kind of...well, something. Anything. At this point, we feel sorry for the hero.
