I was interested in this author after hearing her practical approach in the Colette Baron Reid podcast. I was unsure about the book at first because I’m not interested in following spells like a recipe book (I never follow a recipe! I like to be creative and intuitive) nor being bored 🥱 by a long shopping list. But the book is equally focused on the philosophy than the practice which made it a pleasanter read than expected. I especially liked the last chapters covering the modern reality of our lives (social media) & advising discernment when choosing practitioners & guides. Most of all, I loved the invitation to take the occasional magical break! I found Najah’s attitude very realistic and down to earth. That spoke to me.

I hesitated at first but actually satisfying
