Stephen's bra is starting to slip. His pantyhose are sagging. His knickers keep falling down. Oh, the shame of it. He stole a gizmo, and now it's paying him back. Editor's review

Australian children's book author Paul Jennings has essentially won every children's choice award in his resident country and has been named the favorite author of Australian children over 40 times. But don't just settle for hearing the accolades. Listen to Jennings' Gizmo series from the beginning and see what the hype is all about.

In The Gizmo, comic actor Francis Greenslade is the voice of "Stephen", a lovable and authentically timid boy who is punished with freakish mishaps after he steals a "gizmo" from a shop in order to prove to his friends that he's not a wimp. The gizmo never slows down, and neither does this audiobook, as it careens through the fun story accompanied by numerous sound effects.

Reviews

"It's a challenge not to giggle and guffaw all the way through this Australian yarn....Francis Greenslade's humorous reading is backed by unexpected sound effects, from whistle slides to background screams." ( AudioFile)
