    Description

When you look at the clutter in your home, does it feel like you need an excavator to find the calm beneath the chaos? Do you try again and again to implement sustainable organizational systems without any success? Does the reason for your clutter always seem to come down to too little time or not enough space?

If so, the time has come to look at the clutter beneath the clutter - the fears, doubts, and energy drains that are the true culprits of the muck.

In the follow-up to her Wall Street Journal best-selling book What Your Clutter Is Trying to Tell You, decluttering expert, lifestyle designer, and coach Kerri Richardson helps you to:

    • Understand the three core causes of clutter and how they directly manifest in specific rooms and forms of clutter
    • Use practical and actionable exercises to clear out your clutter hot spots
    • Reclaim your personal space for the thoughts, things, and people in your life that are important to you

Whether you are tackling perfectionism, procrastination, or toxic relationships, Richardson's straightforward advice will help you to finally clear those stubborn stacks, piles, and boxes for a clean start, with a wealth of space for your freedom and happiness to grow.

Feel Feelings + Take Action = Clarity

"I was always trying to think my feelings. But feelings are to be felt, not figured out or fixed." - Kerri Richardson

Whoa. I feel like I'm learning this lesson for the first time. In the midst of chaos, it's good to pause to reflect. Do a mind dump on paper for 10 minutes or so, then shred it and move through your day more powerfully, more clear. I've set a big goal for myself this year, a worthy goal, and Kerri's direction is going to help me get there. I know that the more I feel my feelings, take small actions often versus avoiding them, I will find clarity more and more. Kerri writes, "Our stress is always caused by what we're not doing versus what we are." I'm looking forward to taking action day by day and finding out just what I can accomplish with this newfound clarity. I love the mindset talk. It comes out of a place of loving yourself rather than "beast mode." Kerri's approach is a match for me.

    Excellent message!

Thank you Kerri Richardson. Listening to your words helped me to believe in myself and tackle my clutter little by little. The first weekend I had I spent decluttering my bedroom, “the soul of the home”.

Much more than a book on clutter.

While listening to this audiobook, I felt as if I were sitting across the dining room table having coffee with a dear friend.
Kerri keeps you engaged with her warm, authentic, non-judgemental tone. She really does show you the "clarity" behind your clutter. How it directly relates to not only your self-care but to your true sense of self, especially on a subconscious level. In addition to giving many relatable examples of the "aha" moments that have occurred with her clients, Kerri opens up a deeper understanding of what may be occurring underneath the clutter, in your belief system. One of my many favorite eye-openers in her book is; "If the kitchen is the heart of the home, the bedroom is the soul", which she explains beautifully.
No doubt, I will receive many more "gems" as I re-listen to this book.
