    Needs a different narrator

    The content of this book is good, but the narrator’s voice is so difficult to listen to. I find I’m having to really concentrate on what she’s saying because her voice is very monotone that it’s easy to stop listening and just get caught up in your own thoughts. Sorry, really poor choice of narration.

    A real solution for overeating

    After battling with losing weight for thirty years, I have finally come across a program with the real solution.I knew I had a food addiction but didn't know how to deal with it. I just kept gaining and losing the weight over and over.This book and the author's program is the first REAL solution I've come across. The program and book is SO helpful and I've lost weight with no discomfort. I can't recommend this book enough - it can be life changing

    Some repetition.

    While the advice was good, I felt like she was saying the same things over and over.

    The only way to really lose weight forever.

    This audio book is the only way that I can lose weight. I am 60 years old & have had to fight to keep my weight off all of my life.It was a losing battle until listen this audio book.I have given it to many of my friends. Most of them think that it is too restricting but what they don't realize is that after they follow this way of life for a while, other,healthy foods taste better & they have more will-power as they don't have the insulin fluctuations all of the time which make it impossible to resist sugars & refined carbohydrates.I am trying to stay on it forever.I feel much better when I do & my cholesterol goes down,I don't have any more digestion problems,my blood pressure stays good & I have more energy. My knees were bothering me also but when I lost weight, they stopped hurting.

    Very concise and pertinent

    Author's approach to the cycle of obsession, compulsion, and overeating is a logical and scientific explanation of food addiction. Sugar, wheat, and flour abstinence has resulted in a loss of craving and a healthier body and mind. Best of all, a food plan that doesn't involve hunger!

    Great audio book full of painful truths

    Great audio book full of painful truths. But the authors have been through it and its refreshing to hear someone who has been in your shoes rather than some unaffected expert. Good audio book!

    Inspiring

    This audio book was really an eye opener for me. It gave me the answer to my eating problem and also the solution. I have started to implement the advice and it is wonderful to feel empowered and have all the necessary tools to use as the situation arises. It took a lot of weight of my shoulders and is so glad that they have explain the audio book.

    Success story

    I loved the audio book and have already lost 8 lbs. It has to be from the convicting you on this if you are to be successful. Like author says in the audio book self control is a fruit of the Spirit. Thank you author and to your wife for all of her input. I listen to your radio program also. Thanks so much

    Excellent on weight and health

    Has very good information on how overweight causes health problems. I liked it because it wasn't just about what to eat or not to eat but that it made you very aware of the problems overweight people will possibly experience. I don't think I could eat quite the way they do in the audio book but it does help you think about the food you are putting in your body.

    Truly wonderful

    I come from a food addicted family on both sides! I found this audio book to be appropriate, inspiring and truly on point from a Christian perspective. I was recently diagnosed with cancer which is non-aggressive, slow growing and stage for which I’m thankful. This was my “wake up” call. No excuses, no going back. This is my “new normal!” Thank you both for sharing your story. I’m sure I will listen it more than once.
