I stand with Maddie and the rest of the Cole Corporation employees, waiting for whatever is about to happen next. I've never done any kind of team building before, and it fills me with a sense of dread. I don't know if it's my Englishness that makes me hate the forced bonding and too close contact or if everyone is feeling the same way, but I cannot wait for it to be over!
Luke Cole stands himself behind me, sending me a suggestive smile as he does. Clearly he isn't nearly as plagued by insecurities as I am.
