    ennuyeux

Des centaines de pages pour une histoire très simple et sans gros scenario, aucun surnaturel, même pas du bon polar.
Le 3eme tome est de loin le meilleur des trois par contre.

    Ooh ooh ooh.

Usually when a book impresses me this much on audible I wonder if the narrator makes the story stronger. With King, I need not wonder. He picks the best because he is the best.

Now. You want to know what I thought right? Well. You know that annoying friend that goes.....oh oh oh and then, and I do not want to spoil the story but...well with this book that is me. I felt for our foul evil reader cause I get it. I hopefully will never go this far but........

Lol. Read it. If your a fan I can tell you the King is back in full form if not a fan? Well then, why are you wasting your time reading a review that only goes.....go read it. Go read it now!

    Stephen King at his BEST

This is better than Mr Mercedes. I would have liked a different ending, but the book is fabulous!

    Good narration

All the characters were live...excellent narration.
Good book..the villain is not as dark as Mr.Mercedes...and didn't like the part where the good guys don't even get scratched by the law for their crimes

Very good audiobook but needed more of Bill!

I greatly enjoyed this book. While the main action of the book starts off independently of any events from Book 1 in the series, links of causality are quickly established and the thread of continuity is not broken. The Town Hall massacre described in Mr Mercedes not only killed people but also caused ripple effects for the survivors and their families. Finders Keepers focuses on one such survivor's family, whose lives and material well-being become irrevocably interlaced with the actions of dangerous criminal - who has just been released on parole.

This is a Bill Hodges detective mystery, and to be honest I missed Bill as a character for those first few hours of listening to this story slowly unfold. I really like Bill, Holly and Jerome, as individuals and (more importantly) as the oddly matched team that works so well together. I understand why it was necessary to start introducing their characters in the second part of the book, and not the first, but I did miss Bill dearly and that put a damper on an otherwise excellent book for me.

As he always has done, Stephen King seems to hold a mirror to society and human nature. The effects of economic recession are rife - this is no American dream - and there are no stereotypical all-American heroes amongst King's protagonist, but they are quietly heroic nonetheless. Even the antagonists, the monsters, are still human, and the author does not let us forget this fact.

The story was well-rendered. Rich in detail, nuanced, but still easy enough to follow. The narration was also excellent, consistent with book 1, and true to form and character.

All in all, I enjoyed this, but I would have loved to see more of Bill from earlier on.

    Good story

Not a huge fan of the narrator. his Holly voice is quite annoying. Good book though.

    Okey Dokey

Not as good as Mr Mercedes. This story does not keep you on the edge like part one.
