    Why so short?

Loved the book. I highly suggest you give this series a try if you haven't already. For those of you returning to this series, I can say that this is a great addition to it.
My only gripe with this book is the multitude of points of view the book switches between. Don't get me wrong. I like to hear the story from different people but I feel like I barely got to hear anything from Regan! One of the things I loved about the first two books was the happenings in the dungeon and how Regan handled and changed things. This book there was barely any of that.
With that said I still recommend this book if you are interested in continuing the series. For those of you who are debating starting this series, I highly recommend giving it a shot and starting with Establish.

Great story, and narration is improving

Male narration is still very good, in my opinion. The female narration is less stunted, and is improving.

The narration style as a whole is distracting. I mentioned this in an earlier review, but basically, the male narration does all voices, male and female, in the male dominated chapter. The female narration does all voices, male and female, in the female dominated chapter. The end result is that you have two distinctly different versions of each voice, so you never really get comfortable with either of them. The chapters often end and start with the same character speaking, but not necessarily from the same viewpoint, so you go from a male Reagan talking, to a female trying to do a male voice talking as Reagan. While I am loving the actual story, and have progressed into the story, I feel this is a horrible way to have two narrators.

    Too many viewpoints

You do not get enough time with the MC. There's so many viewpoints they have to name the chapters after them so you can keep it straight! If the description had said, see the story from 10 different viewpoints, then I wouldn't have anything to complain about, however it does not.

    The Narration is Painful

The change in female narrator is disjointing enough, but the need for the female narrator to voice the male characters for an entire chapter just to have the male do the same for the female characters the next chapter makes this hard to listen to. It becomes hard to follow. Not to mention this book bounces around between the perspectives of too many characters for this type of narration. I can’t recommend this book while that is still the case

    Loat potential

This series has immense potential but every chapter it changes perspective. Every chapter. The plot holes in this book are so severe that when the big horde battle started i hd no idea till it was halfway over.

    Jumpy much?

I really like this book series but listening to this book was kind of hard because of the multiple different viewpoints. I really just want to listen to Reagan's point of view and that's it. out of all the 25 chapters only seven are from Reagan's point of view. that's less than half the book. I really hope the author's stops jumping around so much with his next book. The previous two books were better than this one.

    MC is becoming basic

Just follows ladies around patting them on the back for assaulting his slaves. I don’t think the author had much story for this one. Ehh, maybe if you are in real need of a dungeon story not much about a dungeon anymore.

    Repeated

You repeat the same scenes over and over from different point of View from different people in the story too many times

    Good writing, but disappointing.

Nothing really important happened in the book no major plot points were resolved no complete plot. It's one of those in between books. With nothing satisfying ending wise.
Also I wish instead of doing the switching chapters based on gender I wish they'd just have one narrators do their own genders voices.
I'll bee getting the next one though.

    The female narrator is replaced.

And it is hard to get used to the new voices. Still the best of this series is the first chapter of the first book, after that it is a steady decline storywise.

    Trashy and boring

I actually liked the concept of the series but this book is just a disappointment. It is very short, near to nothing is happening, scenes feel disconnected, the narrator is unable to get any feeling in his voice or to speak female voices at all. Over all of this the author seems to force his Anime / Manga dreams of huge chested girls with big weapons.

Still well written and with a good story!

It’s just hard to get used to the new females voice after being used to the old one
