Description
Among members of the outlaw motorcycle clubs, Caesar Campbell is a legend. Former sergeant-at-arms and chief enforcer for the Comancheros, Caesar became the founding member and sergeant-at-arms of the Australian chapter of the Bandidos. He epitomised bikie culture - unbeatable in a fight, brutal in the extreme, fearing no one and nothing, and loyal until death. This is Caesar's story, from his recruitment into the Comancheros, to the savage split within the club that led to the foundation of the Bandidos and the bloody massacre at Milperra that resulted from it. Enforcer is a unique and captivating true-crime story that will shock you with its raw violence, its brutality and its insights into an outlaw world.

Will I be bashed for this?
What did you like best about Enforcer? What did you like least?
I like the idea of an australian modern history being brought to attention. I also like to hear about the change in the australian bikie culture
If you’ve listened to books by Caesar Campbell and Donna Campbell before, how does this one compare?
no
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
yes, it is simple and very australian. It matched the subject perfectly
Do you think Enforcer needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes, I would like to hear what has happened to the bikie culture and to the key players of the time. But I suspect it will never happen due to the culture of 'silence'
Any additional comments?
I am reluctant to say this for fear of being punished :-) But I found the whole so called 'family value' of the club scene which the author talks about, so hypocritical and self-serving that it makes it very hard to believe anything the author says!
His self-awareness is evry self serving, so much so it is disturbing! It is no wonder we have so many problems within Australian culture with gangs and if the author's attitudes are a an example of the typical members then things will only get worse.
However in saying all of that, the Qld governments new laws cracking down on the club's is no way to go about reform!

great book
I liked it. shows how things have changed among todays wanna be bike people. buying a bike and wearing the leather does not make a biker. every town has a bully or guy who thinks he a bad ass. listen to this and you will hear a story of a man. not a bully, not a tuff guy. but a man who's beliefs and his word are what the world is missing today. This book hits a spot with me. I grew up around this life. family members being in one of the big 4. if people in the world lived by a code of honor it would be a better place. give it a read.

Fascinating & fast moving story
If you could sum up Enforcer in three words, what would they be?
Fascinating and fast moving story
What other book might you compare Enforcer to and why?
Dead Biker, but with less fluff.
What about Dave Ferguson’s performance did you like?
I loved the accent and getting to know the Aussies idioms. Hearing it made it possible to understand what they meant.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yeah, but it was too long. I did listen to it pretty fast!
Any additional comments?
Now I want to find the mini-series that tells the story!

Seemed a bit dry.
The book seemed to be a dry re accounting of circumstances leading up to fights and fights (which I guess in Australia is called a "blue"), there's not as much "soul" to this book as other MC books that I have read, in my opinion choose another, although this one isn't horrible...it's just mediocre in a great genre.

One Bad Ass Dude!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely. I've read a number of autobiographies and a few of them by true 1% bikers and this was different. I'm not sure if it was because it took place in Australia or because he had such a close family but this book was great. I really enjoyed listening to the stories of his life. I'm looking forward to hearing more, as it looks like he has a second book coming out.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Enforcer?
The "collection" that Caesar had in a jar.
Which scene was your favorite?
All of it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes and I can't wait for his second book to come out.
Any additional comments?
Check out this book it's great!

Standout
I've read many biography books about bike clubs that were mostly predictable. This book regarding Ceasars values Stands Out above all others. If I had chosen a club member life I would feel like I'd wish to be a carbon copy of Ceaser! I like his personal beliefs of several things. A man of my word means everything, standing up for your brothers and family under any circumstance, looking for just riding and having a good time, never leave one behind, not about drugs and weapons or dealing, and many other things. Also one thing that I really enjoyed was the person who read it and the way he read it. I'm in Texas so I don't hear it much but the accent and a lot of words make better sense than here. I loved it!!! That's an incredible journey this club went through!!!
