I’m in love with this series.
There is something so charming about Richard I can’t help but smile. His cluelessness combined with the crazy cast of characters. Perfect.

Delicious!!!
I’ve loved both of these books. Light and fun, you can almost feel the bee.e of the loire valley. I highly recommend this one.

Great but tough to understand
I love a good cozy mystery and Ian Moore. But unfortunately I’m not well versed in French and struggled with the names/French accent. I think I would’ve enjoyed this more had I been able to understand the names and what was said.

Narrator was great.
A funny mystery. It’s the second in a series and I recommend reading the first book before reading this one. Nice and light.

Funny and enjoyable
Dry-wit humor abounds in this highly enjoyable read. The often absurd situational comedy is on point. The characters and setting charm. Sometimes trying to follow who did what and why can be a bit confusing and you feel a bit like the befuddled Richard Ainsworth, but all is explained in the end, wrapped up and in fact teed up for the next installment. I will look forward to the continuing adventures of Richard and Valerie!

Completely charming and yet intriguing throughout
Well read by the author who was able to give the dialogue perfectly. So important with this nonchalant type of humor.

I hope there will be more
I absolutely love this series and the humor. Thoroughly enjoyable. The characters alone are fascinating enough.

super
Für mich nicht ganz so witzig wie der erste Teil, aber immernoch sehr sympatisch und interessant. Ich liebe Ian Moores Schreibstil.
