I'd love to slow down long enough to adjust to the news that I'm carrying Aidon's twins, but that's not an option. A case I can't refuse is dropped into my lap, and I'll do whatever it takes to help a pair of frantic shifter parents find their missing daughter. After all, if a pack of shifters can't track one of their own, something sinister must be afoot.

Armed with our magical prowess, my bestie Stella and I quickly run into the roadblock that frustrated the shifters. The clues are confusing, but every road of this merry chase leads us to a certain Dark witch. You know, the one I thought my dear old father-in-law Hades had under control.

With the child's life on the line, I have no choice but to force a very confrontational family reunion. But getting to the bottom of this mystery doesn't end there, and with every step I take it seems a new trap awaits me. The clock is ticking, hope is fading, and the path forward has never been more dangerous. But helping the shifters is the right thing to do, and I don't know how to quit.
