Description

Dark psychology is one of the most powerful forces at work in the world today. It is used by the most powerful influencers the world has ever known. Those who are unaware of it risk having it used against them. Don't run that risk!

In his book entitled Dark Psychology 101, author Michael Pace offers a cutting-edge distillation of some of the most powerful principles in the world of dark psychology. Each chapter explains an aspect of dark psychology in a way which is understandable for a layman with no specialist scientific knowledge. Ideas are illustrated with examples to make the task of understanding dark psychology easier. In addition, the book contains case studies and useful profiles on the types of people who make use of this "black magic" in their everyday lives. You will be also shown how you can apply the principles of dark psychology if you choose to.

Please be warned, this book is not for the faint of heart or the weak of mind. Once you have lifted the curtain on the world of dark psychology, there is no going back. You will have an understanding of human nature that few have ever obtained. With great power comes great responsibility.

Waste of time

Repeats itself and doesn't explain much. The writer tells you what people do but do not share how to do anything. Very misleading.

Discount Robert Greene as Read by Some Stiff.

If you are interested in the topics presented in this book, then I strongly recommend that you read the works of Robert Greene instead. Michael Pace repeats himself too much and says too little. The narrator here is a bit emotionless for my taste as well.

I am an hour in and he has not explained a thing

I am an hour in and he has not explained a thing, but he is telling a long story about someone having twins. Maybe there is something at the end, but I don't have two more hours to invest to find out. I will move on to something else.

Not at all what I expected

Very lame. The intro leads you to believe it was really going to be "dark". The author actually tells you, "you are warned." I was very disappointed.

Ehhh... Mostly general knowledge

Would you try another book from Michael Pace and/or Jim D Johnston?

I have listened to other titles by Pace, and they seem to be repeats of this title. I can never say never, but I was looking for something that was more in-depth.

Would you be willing to try another book from Michael Pace? Why or why not?

Sure, I am not one to disregard an author based on a single title... The topics discussed are general knowledge, but maybe to some of the more naive, the discussion of these psychological tactics would be eye-opening. Just this book wasn't for me, as anyone that has a couple of semesters of college psychology already understand many of these techniques.

Any additional comments?

Again, the topics discussed are valid and would shed some light to people that haven't had some psychology classes in college... I love psychology and even made it my minor. I was looking for more in-depth discussion and examples, but then again people are quite simple beings (have some inherent and predictable triggers) even though all of us don't want to admit it or flat out deny it.

Psychology

This book is an overview of how basic psychological principles may be used against people. This is not a "How To Do It" book. This is a "How It Has Been Done" book. You are introduced to the general psychological principle which is then explained how it has been used against people. The entities who have used psychological principles range from governments, businesses, religions, cults, terrorist organizations, to individual people. All of these entities have at least one core idea in mind and that is to utilize psychology to benefit their own self interest regardless the condition in which it leaves their victim.

Any one familiar with basic psychological principles will not discover anything new in this book. It is however, a well done overview of psychological principles and how they may be used to cause harm to a group of people or one person. I did enjoy the presentation of the material but not to the 4-star level. The narrator was excellent. This is so much better than a TTS narration. I think the cost of upgrading to the Audible narrator version was well worth the cost and am happy that I made that choice.

**Start Here**

This was a quick and simple audio book. It is a great comprehensive book to get a general understanding of dark psychology. Some reviews indicate that this does not provide methods to use. So as a warning, this is not a book about techniques or how to build up your abilities in dark psychology. The author of the book provides good understandable information about the subject, and if you use your imagination a bit, you can see how this is put in practice in our every day life, and small changes we can make to become better at it ourselves. I have listened to a few of the other books in the authors list on this subject. And I can say with confidence, these books are not meant to be a how to guide, but more of a teaching series that can provide depth and understanding on the subject of dark psychology.
Final thoughts… Start with this book, then move on to the authors other works. This is the beginning of an education into dark psychology.

You will not find that promised secrets here!

I'm very disappointed.

There are no tools inside that gives extraordinary powers without the possibility of going back.

It's just a poor kind of dictionary about some psychological terms.

You've been warned.

Furchtbare S Laute

Der Sprecher nutzt sehr laute S Laute. Jedes Wort mit einem S wird zur Qual da es ein starker Unterschied zur Rest der Sprache ist.
