    The personnality of the heroin seemed odd to me in the book summary, so it took me some time to listen. Her originality is actually refreshing in the beautiful yet rigid world she ends up in. The way her brain works is captivating. No absurd reactions, no naiveté, she's quite endearing. In fact, she surprised me at every turn. The prince is something else. He takes dark and intense to another level. Powerful, strong and yet so vulnerable... to her only. Such an interesting duo. Per usual, the narrators' performance is flawless. These two never dispppoint in any audio they record. Well done ! (I'm off to book 2 now 🤭)
