    Practical and applicable

    I've taken a couple of disciplinary decisions over the course of reading this book. I love this version because it has examples of people who read crush it, they speak to you on how they made changes in their pursuit and how it resulted.
    a must read for people who want to create something that's potentially valuable.

    interessant mais sans plus

    Le cote interessant est la passion de Gary et certains bons conseils.sinon il y a pratiquement que des témoignages d entrepreneurs ayant reussi en appliquant les principes de son premier livre crush it. bref, déçu dans l ensemble

    Lots of I inspiring exemples. Overall great book

    This book will not give you an easy and fast way to success but it will rather provide you with numerous examples of people who actually succeeded in very different areas. And once you finish the book, you still have to start you business, work on your idea. but you will be given a lot of tools and leads on how it is possible.

    Encore un très bon Audiobook

    Super Audiobook, très inspirant et motivant surtout quand on a lu/écouté "Crush it". Le gros point fort de ce titre c'est toutes les histoires des personnes qui ont réussi en appliquant les principes du premier bouquin. Il ne me reste plus que "Jab, jab, jab, right hook" à lire. mais pour le moment je n'ai jamais été déçu.

    Disappointing considering the author

    I really expected a knock your socks off book considering who wrote it.

    What the book is- a series of stories of people using social media to advertise their business or get started on a business.

    What it’s not- a how to book. It is a bunch of ideas, but not a bunch of steps. The introduction talked about a couple different businesses and which social media platform is best for that but that was really only cover through very specific examples.

    Here is the whole book- find your passion. Connect with others through social media. Be yourself and let your personality shine through. Use every platform out there. Maybe you’ll get lucky and the right person invites you to do something for s big company that you might get paid for. Contact people. Post more content. Contact them again. Post even more. Cross fingers.

    85% fluff and 15% value.

    This is with most books, but for some reason I was really expecting this to be super dense. For me, it seemed just as sparse as most books because it was littered with story after story of anecdotal information. I personally prefer specific step-by-step strategies or fact based information.

    There were definitely bits of gold throughout, but I got those more when Gary was talking, which is about 60% of the time. The rest are stories from others.

    With that being said, maybe I missed something. So I’m giving it a re-listen because I had crazy high expectations! :)

    Common sense don't expect any wow moments

    Seemed like an 8 hour lesson on common sense with stories written by others that flip-flop between first second and third person.

    1, Work harder than your competition to get ahead 2, treat customers how you would like to be treated 3, do what you love because you will be spending a big part of your life on it.

    Duh.

    Very disappointed

    A book completely filled with testimonials about his Crush It book. A waste of time and money.

    I ended up increasing the narration speed to to try and get to good content...
    I honestly didn't learn anything about social media marketing. Any motivation that I would have gained was ruined by all the testimonial reviews of his previous book.

    I feel dooped and will be asking for a refund...

    Terrible. Repetative "success" stories.

    This book adds NO value. Save your money. Redundant and repetitive anecdotal narratives. not worth it.

    Meh!!

    It’s was ok, good not great. A bit over rated actually. To many hypothetical scenarios story telling that drag on way to long.

    What if....A couple, takes up dancing, but is over weight, then starts exercising, then makes a YouTube videos, then gives advice, then strengthens their marriage, then gets picked up by a TV station, then invents dance moves, then becomes millionaires etc etc etc.

    Lots of story telling that “could” happen...

    On top of that the real life success story’s that actually happened, read by the person it happened to, kept reading in 3rd person then going back and forth referring to themselves in the first person, 2nd and 3rd person, got annoying

    Lots of hat, little cattle

    Story after story of how people successfully implemented his first book. This is not an updated improved version but a victory lap that I spent my money to listen too. Feel a bit taken/suckered.

    Don't Bother

    I was only able to make it to 1:35:37 before I had to give up on this "book". The summary of the book leads you to believe it falls into the self-help category, but in reality this "book" is just a big sales pitch for the author's first book (Crush It). It's just the author, and other folks who read the author's first book, talking about why Crush It is so awesome and how it changed their lives. This is not what I thought the book would be.

    53 Year Old is Crushing It!

    I am 53 and I have built a social media marketing agency that caters to the automotive industry. I am an anomaly in this industry; however, I have defined goals and strategies to kill it in this arena. I am discovering how to develop my personal brand instead of building just the company brand. This book is perfect.

    Modern Blueprint for the Wantrepreneur

    This book might not get you rich in dolla dolla bills y’all but it will guide you on how to turn the power and reach of the internet/social media into your greatest asset. If you fantasize about putting yourself out there for the world to see but you’re stuck on how to go about it or market yourself or become your own brand Just. Get. The. Damn. Book. Like Gary says in the conclusion: it’s the last “business book” you’ll ever need. It’s up to us to take action beyond his words.

    Too global of an approach and not enough howtos

    What I took away after listening for the first time is that Facebook Twitter & Co are really cool and you should be on it. I knew that already. It's the reason I bought the audio book. I was hoping for a little more on how the tools work with each other, what to do first, second, etc. I realize a lot depends on your business. It is more of a catalogue of how other people have crushed it and what they have done. If you are not tired of these kind of success stories, this book might be for you.

    Was du micjt hören willst!

    Das Buch ist für zwei Personen:

    1.
    Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem Hörbuch, odee Buch bist, dass dir quasi die Pille für all deine Sorgen liefert und du alles, wie automatisch, vin alleine läuft, dann ist dieses Buch absolut, das falsche für dich.

    2.
    Wenn du die Person bist, die weiß, dass es zig Möglichkeiten gibt, für sich erfolgreich zu werden, aber nicht ganz genau weiß, wie die Vielzahl der Möglichkeiten am besten einzusetzen sind, dann kann es das richtige Hörbuch oder Buch sein. Was dich aber die absolute Sicherheit gibt, dass es das für dich passende ist, ist, wenn du den absoluten Willen hast, an DIR zu arbeiten und nicht die Verantwortung einem Buch gibst.

    Viel Spaß beim Hören oder Lesen.

    Best most current strategies for every business

    Interessanter Ansatz, sehr motivierend

    Ich besitze das Hörbuch nun seit 2 Jahren und habe erst jetzt reingehört. Wieso erst jetzt?! Der Inhalt hätte mir vor zwei Jahren schon so sehr in meiner Selbstständigkeit geholfen! Kann es wirklich weiterempfehlen, vor allem die Stimmen anderer Leser, die durch das Buch erfolg hatten, sind sehr interessant.

    Aber wie in jedem Buch zu Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Weiterbildung muss man auch hier gucken, was und wie man für sich adaptieren kann.

    Sehr interessant, ein wenig zu viel Eigenwerbung

    Das Buch ist interessant, um einen Einblick in die Themen des Selbstmarketing und der Social Media zu bekommen. Mir haben die Kapitel zu den einzelnen sozialen Medien gut gefallen. Es wird allerdings sehr viel Eigenwerbung für das erste von ihm geschriebene Buch gemacht (fast in jedem Kapitel). Insgesamt trotzdem ein gutes Buch mit nützlichen Tipps und Beispielen.

    Gary knows how to advance in the 21. Century

    Crushing it helped me to understand that there is more than building a business these days. In order to succeed we need to connect with the audience and the best way is via social media plattforms. I even started my own vlog because of him. Very helpful book. Thank you.

    Not as good as expected

    I really like Gary Vee and the content he produces, but I was a little disappointed by this book. It's a compilation of stories about people that did something against the odds and then made it big leveraging technology and social media. More of an inspirational work than of actionable advice.

    Gary Vee is amazing

    If not anything, you'll be tremendously inspired after hearing the audio book. it's very well structured and you rarely doze off.
