Pati Nagle's collection of 17 short stories is a multi-genre affair that takes listeners to New Mexico. A fantasy element mixed with a connection to nature ties together many of these tales, such as "Mother Ditch", concerning an avenging river goddess, and the titular story's artist and her special relationship to wind.
