This book is incredibly insightful. I personally feel that all the principles it covers should be known by everyone and learnt at the youngest age. It helps reconnect with oneself and sexuality with full acceptance of your body and emotions . It takes all the bad conditioning and shame away to leave you hopeful and at piece with yourself.

Come As You Are is a deeply disappointing book. It relies heavily on clichés and oversimplifications, offering broad generalities that fail to genuinely help anyone. It provides no real solutions. The feeling of empty rhetoric is widely shared among many women who are not looking for comforting normalization, but for concrete tools that actually unlock something. Reassurance without actionable insight does not lead to change.
