Peewee and Rover were stuffed animals that came to life thanks to the imagination of a five-year-old girl named Gigi. Gigi was often mistaken for shy, but the correct description of her would be introverted. She preferred to play with her stuffed animals and play in her imaginary world rather than with people. People tended to hurt her feelings and made her feel small. She was not as outspoken as her big brother and sister. The Adventures of Peewee and Rover is a series containing stories from Gigi's imagination.
In Book One, Peewee and Rover are home on a hot summer day. They are bored and looking for something to do. When they decide to eat some cereal, Peewee comes up with a grand idea that will most likely lead them to trouble.
