Really good love story!
I loved this one a lot. Heartbreaking, sweet and hot in all the right ways. Nothing is likely to beat Colin and Penelope, but this was very much equal to Anthony and Benedict.
I can't wait to see which Bridgerton love story I will want to listen to next!

Less wicked in the series
The main characters were very boring. I can’t find just one charm of them. Moreover, the writer didn’t bring others Bridgerton to lift up the mood. Ms F Bridgerton lived far away from her family as always.

Beautiful and wise
I waited for this one most of all I think. It’s been known very early in the series that Francesca had been widowed so I’ve been very curious about her story, especially since she wasn’t as close as the others (by location) and while al stories usually had most siblings popping up a few times, she never really did. And when I finally heard her story, I thought that this wasn’t as romantic as the others, but it was beautiful nonetheless. The heartache of a loss as hers was never downplayed and the new found love was so sensible and real that I felt this story was the most realistic of all.

Berührendste aller Bridgerton-Geschichten
Für mich definitiv die berührendste aller Bridgerton-Geschichten! Ein heftiger Schicksalsschlag und nicht nur heile Welt garantieren einen emotionalen Spannungsbogen.
Auch wenn man auf ein bewährtes Happy End setzen darf, ist der Weg dorthin steinig und umso schöner.

Einfach toll
Das ist meine Lieblingsgeschichte der Reihe. Die Sprecherin ist toll. Ich habe die Geschichte mehrmals gehört und es wird nie langweilig.

Triumph
Francesca's story is the loveliest yet the saddest one at the same time. I've never listened to an audible so attentively and full of anticipation and excitement as I did "When He Was Wicked". I can't wait for Fran and Michael's story to grace our screens.

My favourite of the Bridgerton series so far!
I did enjoy the storyline of this one very much, and tge reading was great as always. I liked how this one was a bit darker than the other ones and tackled topics a bit more difficult.

Anfangs ist die Geschichte witzig und plausibel, die Sexszenen sind nicht schlecht, aber dann wird die Geschichte künstlich in die Länge gezogen. Die Hauptprotagonistin wirkt am Schluss lächerlich und nervig mit ihren pharisäerhaften Vorbehalten. Etwas mehr Handlung, auch mit anderen Bridgerton-Protagonisten, wäre willkommen gewesen.
