    Great for reviewing but you need the book

    I like this book and the audiobook immensely. They are full of invaluable information that can save you time and money while trying to get the body you want. My only problem with the audiobook is that for me, it is too difficult to visualize the stretches and workout programs without having the visuals of the book. This is also true for the calculations/formulas given throughout the book. You really need the physical book to get the most out of this material.

    Great sequel to BLS

    Enjoyed this book, the concepts are great, however there is lots of repetition.

    I believe that Mike Matthews truly cares about his readers.

    I’m disappointed. Totally geared towards men.

    I’ve been strength training for 13 years. I’ve completed in bodybuilding and American Ninja warrior competitions. I purchased this book hoping it would help me get to the next level of training, nope. I’m a perfectionist and I want to lose that last 1% of body fat and gain just a tad bit more muscle and strength.
    This book will not help you do that. First of all it’s geared totally towards men and people who don’t know much about training. For example one chapter talked about bench pressing 1.5 times your weight. I’m 112 lbs and 5 foot flat. I’m never benching 168lbs and I don’t want to.

    Second this books claims to be for people who have already been in the training lifestyle for years but it’s not, the training concepts discussed are way to basic. If you already know how to train your body this book will bore you.

    I was annoyed and it was a waste of time. I’ll keep figuring out my own new ways of switching up my training as I’ve done over the years. Wish someone would write something helpful for women who love lifting and have been doing it nonstop for 10+ years.

    good amazing book

    it really helps a lot and gives you insight on things i never knew. i even looked up youtube videos that he has and overall best out there

    Newbie, but i have to say WOW!

    This is a very well put together book first off. I like that it is real, and it is wrote in a way that keeps it simple, but also shows its scientific roots. I have been following Michael's guidelines from Bigger Leaner Stronger, as I am not ready for beyond yet. I started June at 248 LBS, it is now 1/29/19 and I am down to 189 LBS at 13.7% body fat. I have not reached my goal yet, but thanks to these books I am closer then i ever have been. Thank you Michael Matthews, I am glad someone self published can produce such a well put together series. I look forward to more.

    excellent research and fundamental wisdom

    this book will give you hope and a solid plan 2 understand butt workouts and the nutrition and certainly the mindset that galvanizes a great physique I would read it again it was so good

    Brief basic chapters but good overall

    If you are a trainer or have any knowledge on workout training, there are s couple chapters you can skip. Overall lots of good info tho. Lots on nutrition which is great!

    Awesome book!

    I'm actually a personal trainer and I enjoyed every bit of this book. This is a must read for beginners in advance lifters.

    This version is better

    My first impression after seeing they updated this book was not good. I felt like it was a commercial, way too long of an intro and I missed the old narrator. I even kept my old iPhone 7 and went back to that version. However; I finally listened to the whole update which is far more of a self-help book than the original. I have to say, it grew on me and it had much more information and entertaining stories. So, now 5 stars.

    Nicht so gut wie Bigger Leaner Stronger

    Ich bin MIchael Matthews sehr sehr dankbar für das Buch Bigger Leaner Stronger. Es ist das beste Fitnessbuch, was ich je gelesen hab. Alles ist logisch und wird mit Quellen belegt.
    Genauso geht es bei Beyond BLS weiter. Das Buch geht mir aber für mich persönlich zu weit, weil ich als Freitzeitsportler einfach nur einigermaßen gut aussehen will und nicht mein ganzes Leben nach dem Sport richten möchte. In BBLS wird es mir einfach schon zu aufwendig.

    Das Hörbuch war mich etwas schwieriger zu genießen. Der Sprecher war für mich nicht ganz einfach zu verstehen. Außerdem wird es an manchen Stellen etwas komplex, um es beim hören nachvollziehen zu können.

    Wer sehr gutes Englisch kann und alles versteht und zudem das sehr Fortgeschritten im Kraftsport- und Fitnessbereich ist, für den ist das Hörbuch spitze.

    Allen anderen empfehle ich das englische oder auch das deutsche Buch von Michael Matthews: Bigger Leaner Stronger.

    Würde im jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

    Ein super Autor, super Buch, tolle und wirklich wirksame Tipps. Der gibt wirklich das was funktioniert 👍 2 Daumen hoch! Ich bin selbst Trainer für Bodybuilding und Kraftsport, bin auch Ernährungsberaterin und professionelle Sportlerin und ich bin sehr begeistert von dem Buch.

    Klare Struktur, einfach erklärt, alle S mit Praxis verbunden. Liebe Leute, ihr sollt im jeden Fall es lesen oder anhören 🤗
