Janee Trasler
It’s bathtime for the Chickies!
With engaging rhymes and endearing illustrations, Janee Trasler’s books are perfect for babies and toddlers to enjoy. Across each cheerful routine, Trasler shows how Pig scrubs away grime and grub while the chickies ask for more toys.
The story follows the messy chickies through each fresh bath as Cow washes off smelly feathers and Sheep cleans sticky pink and green cupcake frosting. Through each playful wash, the book reveals how Pig, Cow, and Sheep bring on more bubbles and soap until every chick is clean and fluffy.
In this playful and helpful book, parents and children will find that Pig, Cow, Sheep, and Chickies make bathtime lots of fun!
Wash these tummies.
Wash those ears.
Wash your fronts,
and wash your rears.
- Rhyming Text: Bouncy verses invite little listeners to chant along as the chickies argue that they are not that dirty anyhow.
- Farm Animals: Patient barnyard friends team up to wash wings, scrub beaks, and gently clean little backs.
- Baby Animals: The stubborn chickies try to skip the water by insisting they would rather stay and play or that they just had one anyway.
- Also by This Author: Bedtime for Chickies, Dinnertime for Chickies and A New Chick for Chickies.
