    Description

It's the last day of school, and everyone is excited for the big summer leading up to our senior year. I was too...until my heart was ripped out of my chest. As if getting dumped wasn't bad enough, I'm forced to endure the humiliation of witnessing my ex-boyfriend flaunt his new girl-who also happens to be my now ex-best friend-all over town. Double whammy. Now I'm the pathetic ex-girlfriend left gutted, heartbroken, and nose deep in a bucket of ice cream. I'm doomed to spend the summer sulking over a guy who thought I was predictable and bad in bed. So, when I get an offer guaranteeing me some well-deserved payback, of course I'm going to take it. Besides, the plan is simple. Pretend like I'm dating Ryder, the town's popular bad boy, and make my ex wallow in a pit of jealousy and regret. It's perfect. I mean...what could possibly go wrong?

    So Romantic

This book was amazing, the characters were awesome, ryder is my favorite. I couldn't put the book down. I hope there is a second book if this happens to be a series, and hope Bailey and ryder stay together. I cant believe there is a cliffhanger. Totally loves it.

    3 teen stars

I went into reading/listening Bailey And The Bad Boy blindly not reading any reviews. This also was my first book by R. Linda so I had no idea what to expect. I can’t say I loved it nor did I hate it. It was just okay for me. It could’ve been because I didn’t realize this was a young adult romance book where there was no sex what’s so ever. Not even fade to black scenes. Nowadays young adult books have some detail sex scenes, so that was a little disappointing to find that out, because the sexual tension between Bailey and Ryder was pretty intense and I feel this book could’ve been so much better if given us reader that when they finally gave in!

The other problem I had with this book was and I’m assuming that this author is Australian? since there were several didn’t English phrases. For example.. mum instead of mom, mate instead of friend, UNI instead of college. You get the picture….
So I was surprised to find the narrator that read the audiobook to be American.

Plus there were several times throughout the book that something would happened but never got answers to and that just irritated me.

Now I can say this….it was a very cute high school book for anyone that has a young daughter that loves to read about high school drama and loves a bad boy to boot! There definitely was a lot of swoon moments that would put hearts in any young girls eyes… heck I even swooned a few times.

Ryder and Bailey love story is light and refreshing. Definitely a good read for teens.

Audiobook review: This was my first time listening to Addison Barnes and she did a great job!

    Cute story

I wouldn’t offer the book to my young daughter with the references of sex but I liked the story. It was very cute.

    I wanted to like it

I really wanted to like it. The story's premise was interesting, but I felt things just dragged on after awhile. And then there were other issues. Addison Barnes did a great job narrating, but I was under the impression this book was set in Australia or New Zealand, and the narration did not reflect that. The book also stayed away from curse words for most of the story, which is fine, but then the last chapter and the epilogue dropped quite a few f-bombs. What? You stay away or imply curse words for the entire story, but then decide to change that right at the end? I'm just confused.

    Okay but very YA....

I felt like there was to much unsaid... Ryder and Bailey get into fights but no conclusion to the fight, no teachers around when people have fiscal altercations. Not really in my genre but the story would be okay for someone in high school. And why are they always "slamming" their lips together, it sounds painful but it happens all the time.... ouch! The narration was alright
