The last thing Adri Foster expected her sister to find while digging for antique glass was a body in the bushes. With just one year of teaching left before retirement, Adri had hoped to savor the final weeks of summer and the small town of Seven Springs’ Sesquicentennial Celebration.Instead, her mosaic artist sister discovered a dead body—and her sister’s fingerprints were on the murder weapon. With the help of the Saturday Spinners’ gossip, and Snooper, her sharp-eyed Border Collie, Adri tackles the case. The victim, a known poacher, had no shortage of enemies, including an untrustworthy accomplice and a grumpy neighbor with a grudge.Despite the help of her friends and Snooper’s keen nose, Adri’s investigation spins in circles. To make matters worse, Adri’s sister had a history with the victim. When her sister becomes a prime suspect, the stakes rise. With time running out, Adri needs all her connections, wit, and instincts to uncover the truth and prevent her sister’s arrest for murder.©2025 Martha A.
