The Aussie Bites series is fantastic for kids. These bite-sized stories will leave them hungry for more!

Young listeners - especially girls - with a passion for sports will love this contribution to the Aussie Bites series from author Archimede Fusillo. In Game or Not, Fusillo tells the story of Belinda, an aspiring soccer player who’s being held back from pursuing her dreams of stardom by a stupid, arbitrary rule: At her school, soccer is only for boys. Girls are stuck playing volleyball - fine for some, but it’s not Belinda’s cup of tea!
In a nuanced and empathetic performance, Stig Wemyss draws out the humor in this fast-paced story of determination and self-direction with expert comic timing, while also highlighting the very real and relatable frustrations of its plucky protagonist.
