Brief and Uninspiring

This is a brief and uninspiring look at Nathaniel Branden's approach to self-esteem development delivered through the use of composite and one dimensional case studies. It lacks depth, concrete descriptions of ways to develop skills or thought processes to assist with self esteem development. Might be a useful theoretical introduction for the novice therapist.

Not action-oriented, as it claims

This short audio was useful for identifying the various ways in which low self-esteem manifests itself. You learn this through 4 case studies he presents. However, it never really says, "Here are some exercises you can do to raise your self-esteem". He suggests one exercise, almost in passing, involving standing in front a mirror, but that is the only one and he doesn't provide much detail about it. Buy this if you think you can learn from hearing how and why four other people dealt with their low self-esteem.

KEINE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!! Schwach, da viel zu kurz.

Kein Vergleich mit 7 Säulen des Selbstwertgefühls. Ich kann mir auch ehrlich gesagt auf keinen Fall vorstellen, dass "how to raise your s-e" jemals so kurz geschrieben sein konnte, dass da nur 58 min. bei rauskommen. Es sind nur 3 Fallbeispiele von Personen, die ohnehin schon mitten im Leben stehen und hadern zum nächsten Schritt. branden ist wie imme rgut... aber dieses hörbuch hilft gar nix. Muss ein winziger Ausschnitt aus dem echten Buch sein.

Hätt s eine Rezension gegeben... ich hätts nicht gekauft.
