It would be perfect if you included a regular speed version after you've listened to the slower one. I play it at a faster speed but it's not quite the same.

this is a great way to learn German. the narrator speaks slow enough to identify all the words.
Estoy estudiando por mi cuenta y veo que si funciona. Con el soporte del libro es perfecto.
it should goes faster than this so you won't get bored or have a trouble connecting the sentences.
Spoken a little slowly, but an excellent choice of beginner to intermediate words and phrasing. Worth a listen
Loved the story and the way it was narrated. Real-life adventures ww can all relate to. The story read quite slowly and with emotion. I listened to it while also reading thr story on my kindle. That was the best combination for me, having my brain getting used to this not-so-easy language through both my eyes and ears. The level of this book is A1. I'd done a couple of months of traditional studying before getting to this book, so could understand all the sentence structures and whatnot. But definitely learned lots of new things too!
I'm pleased to have found this sort of story both for reading and listening. It's more interesting than most generally available.
I learned to distinguish many different German words thanks to the slow tempo used in reading the text
I like this series. It is especially helpful to listen to right before class or Sta!mmtisch, as it helps switch my brain into gear to find German words and use German grammar.
What disappointed you about Learn German With Stories: Ferien in Frankfurt. 10 Short Stories for Beginners?
it was painful... at the beginning i thought it was a joke! but no, it's real. i've been using podcast and apps to learn basic german and i thought that listening to some short stories would help me make progress. what i didn't expect was THIS LEVEL of dryness: he reads the same ridiculous way throught the whole book? i could only stand him for 5 minutes. then i decided to return it. if you want basic german: use slow german podcast, by annick. it's much better! and less painful for your ears.
