Description

In consequence of a number of stunning catastrophes, Arthur Dent is surprised to find himself living in a hideously miserable cave on prehistoric Earth. However, just as he thinks that things cannot get possibly worse, they suddenly do. He discovers that the Galaxy is not only mind-boggingly big and bewildering but also that most of the things that happen in it are staggeringly unfair.

Watch out for the Lords of Krikket!

Martin Freeman again delivers a fantastic narration of the late, great Douglas Adams words. A couple of the characters weren't quite vocalised how I imagined and that initially jolted me but overall, this is a lot of fun to listen to.

Of the first three, this one is the least good

The story is not as good as in the first two books. It’s slow, dull and very weird - not in a good way unfortunately. It takes a long time for the book to reach the level the two others are on.

good 3rd part

Although 3rd parts of a series often seem to lack, this piece is another fine example of exquisite storytelling. The first hour was a bit confusing but when you power through that only joy remains

Science-Fiction vom Feinsten

Always great to dip into the Hitchhiker's Universe

Wie hat Ihnen Martin Freeman als Sprecher gefallen? Warum?

I personally liked Stephen Fry in "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Universe" better. But Martin Freeman still is great.

well done!

Douglas Adams is a fantastic writer and Martin Freeman fits the part perfectly! He gives every character their own voice and brings them to life in a unique way! My all time favorite audiobook.
