Description

The long-overdue 6 Months to 6 Figures is a breath of fresh air to the entrepreneurial world, and is here to shift our culture. This audiobook contains no BS, no fluff, no academic theories, and no sugar coating - just real world, tactical, hard core strategies from being in the trenches.

Peter Voogd, who has been labeled the leading authority for Gen Y leadership, reveals the exact strategies he's used to go from dead broke to over six figures within six months. Peter has trained over 4,000 entrepreneurs, and built an eight-million-dollar sales organization by age 27. If you're one of the select few who are serious about success, this book will change the game for you, regardless of what industry you're in.

Most entrepreneurs struggle with inconsistent income, low productivity, and don't have enough time in a day to get everything they want done. Peter shows you the fastest and most effective ways to maximize your income, get bigger things done in less time, and create your ideal lifestyle. We assure you: This is the only book you'll ever need if you want to thrive as an entrepreneur. It will help you create a quantum change in the results you enjoy in your personal and professional life.

As I'm sure you are aware and have experienced, most people just talk about success. They wish they had success, but never take the consistent action necessary to achieve it. They spend year after year just trying to get by instead of designing a compelling future. We want to bring you off the sidelines and into the game. We want you to enjoy higher levels of fulfillment, passion, and energy, and to achieve results that very few attain.

It's time to stop surviving and start thriving.

Not much different from others like it...

What disappointed you about 6 Months to 6 Figures?

What disappointed me most about this book is that is over promised, big hype with title and under delivered as to practicality. It was more a motivational, inspirational story without the nuts and bolts or nit and grit. This book was no different. The only thing that really stood out was the guys story. He used a lot of quotes we have all heard before and presented information that was all said before in many other self-help books. He tries to come across as different but in doing so, actually sounds a lot like other self-help books. The guy never really says what the business was that he was involved on. It was very vague. It sounded like Network Marketing

What was one of the most memorable moments of 6 Months to 6 Figures?

The most memorable moment in the book was his own personal testimony and starting young finding ways to make money and no be time broke.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Peter J. Voogd?

He was good as the narrator.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Let down

Any additional comments?

There wasn't really anything EPIC about this production. I could tell this was another Network Marketing Book. The guy never really says what his business was and that to me was weird.

I already knew but...

To be honest I already knew most of the things he talks about in this audiobook, but it's not the knowledge that moves people, it's the inspiration.
That's why I gave a 5 star rating: because it has inspired me to take action and I am already changing habits. Peter can motivate and inspire you too.
This can change your life.
I recommend you get it and act on it!!

Misleading title

This is just a motivational self improvement book. His keys to "6 figures in 6 months" are just to improve your work ethic/personal habits and network with people who make more money than you. Disappointing if you were expecting any sort of business strategy or guide.

New Favorite Book

Only negative is the sound quality there were highs and lows in the recording that come out in my car but fine in my headphones. This hasn't happened with other audio books so may be a fluke.

Gets better towards the end

His rags to riches story is not as impressive and a lot of self-praising yadder yadder inbetween info, a lot of repetition and summary of other popular get rich books

Good practical sum up of the essentials

In contrast to the commenters bragging about Peter is just replicating stuff of quite more popular motivational people in the business. this is a very streamlined condensed book putting all stuff into that worked for him based on practicality. nice fluent read/audible. will read and make and implement notes and ideas on repeat for the next 6 months. let's make a retrospective then.

Good, some minor technical flaws.

The content of the book is good, not eye-opening if you are already experienced in the field but still good. There are two things that bothered me, but that shouldn't keep you from listening to it. 1.) Don't use your best headphones. The soundrecording is with a lot of Plops, everytime he says a word with P. Can be really annoying. 2.) I would have wished for pauses. Just 3secs after he tells you: Write down your goals for the six months. Now write down... Now write down.... You don't have the chance to stop and take action, he just keeps talking and talking. And to take action is an important exercise of this book. It's basically the best tip you'll get from it. We all tend to over-learn. We don't take time to implement everything we just read. And that's why it really bothered me, that Peter didn't wait for the listener to pause and take action. Still, it's not a deal-breaker, just my opinion and the content is good, so give it a try. I'm gonna listen to it again, to check what I've missed the first time.
