    From his youthful rebellion against vegetarianism, to his successful law practice in South Africa, his struggle with his own sexual excesses, and his leadership of the movement to free India from British rule, Gandhi describes the story of his life as a series of spiritual “experiments” and explains how he developed his concept of active nonviolent resistance, which propelled the Indian struggle for independence and inspired countless other nonviolent struggles.

    Fascinating if incomplete

    Very interesting insights into Gandhi but jumps around with lots of details about some things and little context for others. Recommend for people already familiar with Gandhi’s story or if not you should read/listen to a more general biography first to get oriented.

    The narrator is very good but maybe it could have been interesting and lended authenticity to use a narrator with an Indian accent?

    Boring, Sterile and it seems as if Gandhi is...

    Seems like Gandhi is really high on himself! What's more, the reader is awful! So surprisingly disappointing. Upon further listening I find Ganghi nauseatingly self-centered and flawed in his antiquated ideals!
