Three acts. Three stories. One unspeakable terror.
In the blood-soaked aftermath of the American Civil War, the ruins of battlefields conceal a horror older than the nation itself. And They Will Suffer unravels the eerie tale of three unlikely survivors as they confront a force far beyond their understanding—a primal evil that festers in the forgotten Ozark mountains, far from the reach of human law.
In The Surgeon, a Union doctor is sent to investigate the remnants of a Confederate raid. What he discovers in a desolate mountain town is more terrifying than war itself: a massacre that hints at an ancient and ravenous force lurking in the shadows.
In The Soldier, a battle-weary Confederate colonel seeks refuge in the Ozarks after a crushing defeat, only to find his men unraveling as madness descends upon a ghostly town abandoned to the horrors of the night.
And in The Sorcerer, a mystic warrior from a forgotten order embarks on a perilous journey to Missouri, racing against time to destroy the ageless evil that threatens not just the war-torn land, but the very survival of humanity.
As their stories intertwine, And They Will Suffer delivers a relentless, bone-chilling narrative that builds to a climax of unimaginable terror.
