When Alexis wakes in a lightless room with an unfamiliar taste on her tongue, time no longer behaves as it should. A clock ticks without moving, shadows breathe, and hunger arrives too quickly to be natural.
As moments slip and senses betray her, comfort becomes indistinguishable from threat, and the line between survival and surrender begins to blur. Something waits just beyond the door—patient, practiced, and certain she will come willingly.
An Unfamiliar Taste is a claustrophobic descent into bodily horror and quiet inevitability, where repetition replaces memory and the most terrifying thing is not what is taken, but what is accepted.
