So upset
This is one of my favorite princesses…. it just didn’t sound like Tiana . Great story line but doesn’t follow the characters personalities from the movie. Tiana isn’t selfish. . so idk why they made her like that.

Awful Narration
I almost turned this off as the narrator was terrible. It was painful to hear her attempt voices, there were not accents, and her inflection was abysmal. Read the book versus listening to it and save yourself the pain! So disappointing, and I will be avoiding her narration at all costs!

I love my city! Even when it's make believe.
Although I wanted to slap Tiana at times I was pleasantly surprised with this story. It didn't go in the direction I thought it was. At first I was thinking the bad guy would win. It felt good here some places named that are no longer staples in the city.

I'm an adult but I loved this
I really appreciated a lot of things. I appreciated the truthful view from a black woman's perspective in the mist of all of the story. I really liked how fleshed out they made lottie's character. I really appreciated how the story explained the real roots of voodoo, rather than it just being labeled as a spooky thing. The one thing I will say that I wish was done differently, is that the story completely ignored Ray and his impact on his friends. I wish the story would have gone into that more.
