À propos de ce contenu audio

When high-ranking Tory minister Sir Randall Panderyn gets himself photographed in a compromising position in a seedy London dungeon, Conservative Party HQ must act fast to avoid a calamitous scandal!

Deciding that the disgraced Sir Randall must be quickly removed from the public eye, a party-political reshuffle immediately ensues. Consequently, rising star of the Tory party Alice Chesham finds herself posted off to be the new Conservative candidate for Sunderland.

Her arrival coincides with a dockers’ strike precipitated by a takeover of the docks by the gun-toting and extroverted Texan billionaire, Senator Earl Sanderson III.

With a mind to restoring the Tories’ influence in the area, Alice decides to throw in her lot with the fiery American and help him out with the takeover. But things do not go as planned… and mayhem ensues!

With the docks at crisis point, can Alice prevail against the might of the Trade Union and help the Texan spark life back into the docklands? With the general election looming, can she change the fortunes of the ailing Conservative party in the North East? Could romance be found along the way? And will she ever comprehend the local accent?

Find out in the adventures of Alice in Sunderland.
