Crushed by the weight of his dying dreams, David Thorn's life begins to unravel. It's his senior year of high school. Classes are harder, girls are meaner, and his shining career as a football tight end is crumbling before his eyes.
As the world collapses around him, this abrupt turn of events brings into his life an unexpected friend.
In a miraculous way, David finds himself linked to a girl from another time and place through a living stone called an Airlis. Heavenly text messages reveal Elli to be a young angel fighting battles of her own. Together they find the courage to face mountains too big to conquer alone. Neither of them could've imagined how this friendship would change their lives forever.
